Answer (c) Silent Afterglow 2012
Quote by Yukari Takeba from Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 and all of its offspin series. (c) Atlus 2007 - 2010.

Minato, once again, found his twin sister lying next to him in his bed, her crimsons were hiding in tiredness. Fortunately, they both reserved their memories of the previous April till now, the Dark Hours, the fighting of Nyx. Minako was at great discomfort, realizing that no one aside of them retained their memories, so she stayed with him until things had settled down.

The young bluenette looked at the calendar hung on to the wall. "March 3rd...It's Graduation Day." He then turned to the side, and poked the young brunette. "Minako, wake up. It's the Promised Day." Those pale eyelids then slid open, showing a portion of shining scarlet eyes. "Hmm...? Is it that day already? I feel tired..." She rubbed her eyes, before she sat herself up. "It's today, huh? I hope they remember us." Minato smiled faintly in assurance, "I'm sure that they will. We had never broke promise, hadn't we?" She beamed brightly, "Yeah!"

As Minako returned to her room, Minato then clothed himself in his usual uniform. Looking at the mirror, his navy bangs fell untidily across his face, and his silvers were glittering with an uncanny light. He felt this...Uneasiness for the last whole month. As if their time is running short, soon reaching its end. Minako felt the same thing, yet she was still as carefree and as bright as she was once. Minato then ran his fingers on his blue hair, wondering if there would be any sign that will signal their end. Yet, bitterly, he did not want this moment to end. He realized that deep inside, even though Death had severed their fate from this world, literally, the twin were clinging to life. And at the fact they managed to survive for a month, it is a monumental achievement worth of celebrating.

But Minato realized that the time to do so was long forgotten.

The moment the two unleashed their life essence, the boy realized that their time was exceptionally sped up. To seal Nyx, it requires more than just their energy...It requires their very core, their very life essence...Technically, it requires their deaths.

As the younger girl barged in to his room, the boy smiled. If anything, he would want to spend his last moment with the girl that shares his exact fate, his own sister. "Minato, let's go!" He then nodded. "Yeah...Should we go? To the Rooftop, in case you forget."

Minako pouted. "Seriously, you treat me like I'm an old lady!"

Minato laughed heartily. "I apologize then. Should we leave now? The ceremony about to start."

As the two then rode to the school, Minato gazed at the sea. He couldn't believe that the final battle took exactly two months ago, in January. The sky was once painted in green, all hells had broke loose...Minato still could not believe that it was under the exact sky that he beat the unbeatable. The Universe Arcana...The ultimate arcana, born from the bonds with their friends. He then felt the warm hands of the younger girl, probably she too, sensed that her time was near.

'Iwatodai Station. This is the final station bound to Tatsumi Port Island. Please take care of your luggage before departing the board.'

"We're here. Let's go." Minako and Minato then put their headphone, as they both brought their bags and left the train.

Dreamless dorm
Ticking clock
I walk away from the soundless room
Windless night
Moonlight melts
My ghostly shadow to the lukewarm gloom
Nightly dance of bleeding sword
Reminds me that I still live

As they both headed toward the Strip Mall, silence submerged between the two. Having nothing to say, they secretly hoped to be in others' presence just once more, before they fulfilled their destiny. One year. It's just one year since they have acquired this power. The 'mask' that 'protects' them through any 'hardships', aptly named 'Persona'. But ever since the day they defeated Nyx, none of them could hear the Personas' voices anymore, nor sensing their presence in the sea of soul.

Orpheus, the bluenette thought. Aside from Minako, you're the one I hope the most to be there once I draw my last breath.

He then raised his head, and saw once again the Gekkoukan High School standing with all its majesty. The buildings reflected the light of the sunrays that beamed against them, shining brilliantly with a white light. The glass windows shone uncannily with a defiant gleam, hurting his eyes.

"Don't head there!" Minako snarled as the pair entered the school building. "Where the heck are you going, Minato? You said yourself we will be waiting at the rooftop!" He then immediately looked around, as if he was dazed. "...Huh? Oh, yeah." The young girl skidded to the front and spoke softly the young man,

"Minato, I know our time is close. But don't make such a gloomy face! We gonna face our destiny head on, right?"

He was astounded. How could Minako be this cheerful remembering that their time is very close?

Regaining his composure, Minato took the girl's hand into his, and led the way to the rooftop. In all honesty, he wanted Minako to live. He wanted Minako to experience things he will never experience. The young boy wished that her time hadn't been exceptionally sped up, but ironically, this cheerful, bubbly girl also shared his fate.

Parts of Death that were sealed within them. Unwillingly, they aided in the coming of The Appraiser, defeating the Twelve Shadows of Full Moon. Cowardly Maya, Priestess, Empress, Emperor, Hierophant, Lovers, Chariot, Justice, Hermit, Fortune, Strength and Hanged Man...And more countless battles they went through in the Tower of Demise, Tartarus. Minato always wished that Minako would not be trying so hard. Just like Akihiko, he was angry...Angry at himself whenever he saw she was knocked, was hurt by attacks from the Shadows. He wished that she does not have to fight. Yet, trapped in a twisted destiny such as this left her no choice but to struggle for her own life.

Their feet synchronized in harmony of silence as they strode toward the staircase leading to the highest floor of Gekkoukan High School. No longer should this place turn into that eerie gigantic rift, no longer should those terrifying creatures haunt the humanity. Their friends would finally be able to lead a peaceful, normal teenager life, attending school at full focus without having to fight anymore.

"We're here...But no one's here."

He caught that disappointment laced the high pitched voice of the crimson eyed girl. Minato took a quick scan, and yes, nobody is here. "Well, just wait a few minutes...I'm sure they will be here soon." Minato then laid himself on the floor of the rooftop, Minako followed suit. As the two faced the stretching horizon, Minako curled herself, bringing her body closer to the elder man.

"I'm tired," she whispered, barely audible. "But we need to see them, do we?"

"Yeah," was his short reply. He too, was extremely tired. Was their time finally here? "We can't give in now...Not before we see them for one last time."

I promised to protect you, Minako thought sadly. Minato...I promised to be there for you. But if only you hadn't shared my fate...Things would not be like this.

She then reached for his hand, and placed her hand in his much larger hands. His hand was ghastly warm, and Minako closed her eyes...Yet struggling to keep herself conscious of her surroundings. Minato seemed to get much more resistant to the temptation of this sleep, as she could felt his cobalt were boring into her skull. From the distance, she could hear the voice of footsteps.

Knowing that they were finally here, Minako finally gave in to the sweet temptation of the tiredness that had been relentlessly attacking her. Her time was numbered, and so was Minato. Barely aware, she could felt that his hand was growing colder, and that her body was growing heavier. One last time, Minako leaned her head to the chest of the young man, and closed her eyes.

I will burn my dread
I once ran away from the god of fear
And he chained me to despair
Burn my dread
I'll break the chain
And run till I see the sunlight again
I'll lift my face and run to the sunlight
